Supplements are a great way to add a little extra oomph to your diet. Not all supplements are created equal, though, so you have to choose the ones you decide to use carefully. It’s always wise to do plenty of research into the ingredients and chat with your doctor before adding anything new to your regimen.
I personally like finding supplements that I can either drink on their own or add to my smoothie or water bottle. I’m terrible at remembering to take vitamin pills during the day, but I never forget to sip water or drink my smoothie!
Since there are so many supplement pills, drinks, and powders on the market, I’ve rounded up a few that I think give great results. This will provide you with a good starting point for your own diet.
More Labs packages powerful formulas in adorable little bottles and slim packets that are easy to stash anywhere on the go. Their supplements have proprietary formulas that serve a specific purpose, such as focus, sleep, and hangover recovery.
All of their products are backed by lots of scientific research, so you can feel good about using them to help improve all areas of your life. Their Morning Recovery drink is trendy because it drastically reduces all of the unpleasant hangover symptoms that usually accompany a night of a little too much fun.
I’ve always been picky about electrolyte drinks, but I also know that water just doesn’t cut it when I get dehydrated. I’ve tried lots of hydration supplements and sports drinks, but Liquid I.V. is hands-down my favorite. When I start my day or end my workout with a Liquid I.V. packet, I always notice a difference!
You can also grab varieties that support better immune function, better sleep, and higher energy levels without the accompanying crash and jitters of coffee.
They come in lots of different flavors, and if you order from their website, you can even mix and match to find your favorite! (My go-to flavors are watermelon and apple pie.)
You may have read about the Moon Juice brand on social media or visited one of their shops, but you can also purchase their powders and supplements online!
The brand is focused on overall wellness, but some of its supplements are great for everyday use. One popular powder is called Brain Dust, and it’s a blend of adaptogenic herbs and mushrooms that’s intended to help you feel more alert and focused.
They also have a fun, deep blue adaptogen protein powder called Blue Beauty that’s next on my list of supplements to try. (The blue color comes from spirulina, a blue-green algae packed with antioxidants!) It contains biofermented rice protein and lots of antioxidant boosters, and it’s smooth and tasteless enough to mix flawlessly into bottled water.
How Do You Level Up Your Life?
The drink supplements I’ve mentioned are just a few of the many great supplements available. Once you know what kind of boost you’re looking for, you can find dozens of tasty, effective options to try. Have you tested any of the brands I mentioned? Do you have a favorite I left out?
